A wave of joy and celebration swept through the serene plains of Amboseli today as James Kimoi, son of KANU Chairman Gideon Moi, wed Ivy Melly in a beautiful ceremony held at the luxurious Ol Tukai Lodge.

The occasion brought together prominent figures, including former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who joined the Moi and Melly families in witnessing the young couple exchange vows in the company of close relatives, friends, and dignitaries.

In a heartfelt message shared on his official platforms, Gideon Moi expressed deep parental pride and emotion as he watched his son begin a new chapter in life.

“My wife Zahra and I are proud as parents watching our son, James Kimoi, exchanging vows today with the love of his life, Ivy Meli, and making a life-long commitment to be a loving, supporting, present, and intentional husband.”

Moi also warmly welcomed Ivy into the family, describing her not just as a daughter-in-law but as a cherished daughter.

“As a family, we welcome Ivy into our fold. We cherish and adore her as our daughter. May God bless their union and grant them the grace to walk this journey of love together.”

The couple’s union symbolized the coming together of two respected families and was marked by an air of elegance, tradition, and optimism. Against the picturesque backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the lush landscapes of Amboseli, the ceremony was a reflection of love, legacy, and continuity.

The presence of national leaders further underscored the significance of the occasion, offering a glimpse into the deep personal connections that transcend Kenya’s political sphere.
