Kitui Central MP aspirant on a Wiper Patriotic Front ticket, Pauline Mwania, on Saturday joined family members, relatives, friends, and members of the community in Kitungati Village to lay her aunt, Margaret Mutinda Ngole, to rest.
In a heartfelt message, Mwania described her late aunt as a loving mother, a source of inspiration, and a positive influence in the lives of many. Margaret passed away after a long period of illness.
Mwania conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and urged them to remain strong and united as they navigate the difficult period of grief.

She joined other mourners in paying their final respects to the departed family matriarch, celebrating her life and the impact she had on those around her.
“Fare thee well, Aunt Margaret. May you rest in eternal peace,” Mwania said in her tribute.
With the 2027 General Election drawing closer, Pauline Mwania is stepping up her bid to succeed Makali Mulu as Kitui Central MP, should the incumbent shift his focus to the Kitui gubernatorial race. Mwania has been steadily expanding her grassroots network across the constituency, with her growing political engagements reportedly receiving a positive response from sections of the electorate. Her increasing visibility is setting the stage for a contest over Makali’s potential succession, as aspirants begin positioning themselves for the high-stakes race.
