A tragic road accident at Umoja Petrol Station in Mwingi Central has claimed the life of a middle-aged woman after a Zafanana bus, a lorry, and a boda boda collided in a devastating crash early this morning.

According to eyewitness accounts, the accident occurred when the Zafanana bus attempted to overtake the lorry at high speed. In the process, it rammed into a boda boda that was carrying the deceased. The impact was fatal, crushing the woman on the spot as onlookers watched in horror.
The victim, who has been identified as a teller at a local bank, was on her way to work when the tragedy struck. Her body has since been moved to the Mwingi Level 4 Hospital mortuary as police launch investigations into the incident.
