In a dramatic turn of events, detectives have arrested a controversial TikToker behind a chilling viral video inciting violence against police officers and their families. The suspect, identified as Godfrey Mwasiaga Kakan Maiyo, was traced and apprehended while operating a shadowy logistics office in Nairobi’s Kimathi House.

According to investigative sources, the suspect had been using his TikTok account to spread dangerous rhetoric, including calls for retribution against law enforcement. The disturbing video, which quickly gained traction on social media, sparked nationwide outrage and prompted swift action from security agencies.

Undercover officers launched a manhunt and eventually tracked Maiyo to a nondescript office space branded LetaPeleka Logistics. Authorities believe the office served as a front to conceal his online activities.

“This was not just a case of reckless talk. The video was a clear incitement to violence, endangering lives and undermining national security,” said a senior detective close to the probe.

Maiyo is now in police custody and undergoing interrogation. He is expected to be arraigned in court once investigations are finalized. Authorities have confirmed that more arrests could follow as cyber forensic experts analyze his online activity and potential accomplices.

The incident comes at a time when the government has vowed to crack down on digital extremism and misuse of social media platforms to promote hate and incitement. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki recently warned that anyone using social media to threaten public order would face the full force of the law.
