The media fraternity is in mourning following the sudden and mysterious death of Kisumu-based radio host Fofona Bangali, whose lifeless body was discovered in his house just hours after he had lunch with a colleague.

Bangali, a vibrant and well-known voice in the region’s airwaves, was reportedly in high spirits when he met up with a colleague for lunch on Saturday afternoon. However, the shocking turn of events has left friends, family, and fans reeling in disbelief.

According to sources close to the deceased, Bangali failed to respond to calls later that evening, prompting concerned friends to visit his residence. Upon arrival, they were met with a grim scene – his lifeless body lying motionless. Authorities have since been alerted, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding his sudden demise are underway.

Kisumu County Police Commander confirmed that detectives are treating the matter with urgency, with forensic experts combing through Bangali’s house for any possible clues. “At this stage, we cannot rule out anything, and we are actively investigating all possibilities,” an officer stated.

His colleagues in the media industry have taken to social media to express their grief and shock. One heart-wrenching post from a fellow radio presenter simply read: “CPUI 💔💔💔.” The cryptic message has left many speculating about its meaning and whether it could be linked to Bangali’s untimely demise.

Bangali, known for his charismatic voice and engaging shows, was a household name in Kisumu’s radio scene. His sudden passing has left a void that will be difficult to fill.

As authorities dig deeper into the circumstances surrounding his death, questions linger: What happened after his lunch with the colleague? Was foul play involved? Could there be underlying health issues?

The public eagerly awaits answers as the police and forensic experts piece together the final moments of Fofona Bangali’s life. May his soul rest in peace.
