A 32-year-old man has committed suicide at his rented apartment in Embu’s Mbeere North area after a woman from the same locality rejected his marriage proposal.
According to police, the decomposing body of the middle-aged man was found in house today after he went missing days ago and attempts to locate him through his phone didnt bore fruits.
According to reports, he was in love with a local woman and wanted to marry her. He took the extreme step after she rejected his proposal.
A suicide note was discovered next to his decomposing body narrating the ordeal behind taking his life as love reject.
His body has been sent to the local hospital mortuary for autopsy.
