Sounds like there’s significant local opposition in Kitui County to the Azimio coalition’s plans, particularly regarding the proposal to change Augustus Kyalo Muli’s name on the IEBC Selection Panel with that of Dr Koki Muli.

The suggestion is that Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka should prioritize developing leadership within the Ukambani region rather than making these changes.
This reflects a broader desire for local empowerment and stability within the political landscape of Ukambani.

Addressing the members of the press yesterday in Kitui Town, a section of Kitui Central residents called out Wiper party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka for interfering with a fair and just electoral process that saw Dr Augustus Muli beat Wiper’s candidate with over 10 votes in PPLC election.

They are now are demanding that the National Assembly retains Dr Augustus Muli’s name in the list of IEBC of Selection Committee as declared by IEBC .

On Wednesday, court issued orders barring the Office of The Registrar of Political parties from presenting the names of IEBC Selection Committee Panel without including Dr Augustus Kyalo Muli until a case he has presented in court is heard and determined.
