A junior judicial officer newly posted at Kyuso Law Court in Kitui’s, Mwingi North is receiving praises and condemnation in equal measurements due to her well thought judicial pronouncements and judgements coming from her court.

Due to her well thought and researched judgements Hon Ann Kalekye Lule has gained a liking from the members of the bar at one point , becoming a topic of discussion among senior advocates in Kitui across social media platforms.

High Court advocate Charles Mwalimu of CMC and LLP advocates has praised Hon Luli for her prowress in delivery of judicial pronouncements and judgments emanating from her court.

According to High Court Advocate of MCM Charles Mwalimu, the kind of judgements and judicial pronouncements emanating from Hon Ann Luli’s court are worthy to be reported and he may be forced to petition the National Council for Law Reporting to allow under special circumstances, report cases emanating from Magistrates Courts after all they report those from tribunals.

“We have a young and a new (new to the bench) Judicial Officer who was posted to Kyuso Law Courts a while ago. Her judgements and rulings are well thought, well researched, well reasoned and they leave you wondering how you missed the gaps in your own case.” Said Mr Charles Mwalimu

In a not usual way of how advocates praise judges for dismissing their cases , Charles Mwalimu of MCM Advocates pointed one incident where a colleague was okay having his matter thrown out of the court.

“My son Mandela Kabwere tells me his case was once dismissed, and he went home a happy man simply because the judgement didn’t leave any doubt to him that his client had a hopeless case.

The other day several judgements went against me, but the kind of judgement she delivered had me call my client with one word, “we are lucky it wasn’t worse”.” He said

In quick rejoinder seasoned lawyer Morris Kimuli also weighed on the praises of the outstanding performance by Hon Ann Lule.

“This is inspiring. Not sure if it is the same one who was with Silas Chepkeres Jakakimba”
