A Grade 3 pupil at Emali Sunshine Academy, Day And Boading School is receiving treatment after he was allegedly sodomised by a Grade 9 student in the same school last weekend.

According to initial reports, the pupil experienced difficulty walking following the incident and later reported the matter to the school administration. The administration then facilitated medical attention for the victim.

Efforts by the press to reach the school for comment were unsuccessful, as calls to the official number went unanswered.

The incident has triggered an uproar among parents, who are calling for justice and questioning the safety of their children in the institution. Social media platforms have also been awash with demands for the school to issue a formal statement on the matter.

Local education officials had not issued a response by the time of publication.
