In a bold move to revolutionize healthcare in Machakos County, Governor Wavinya Ndeti has announced the imminent opening of a new Level 3 healthcare facility within the renowned Machakos Level 5 Hospital. This groundbreaking initiative is set to decongest the county’s top referral hospital while ensuring that urban residents access specialized and cost-effective medical services with ease.

    A Game-Changer for Healthcare Access

With the rapid growth of Machakos town, the demand for efficient and accessible healthcare services has skyrocketed. Recognizing this urgent need, Governor Ndeti’s administration has strategically established the Level 3 facility to exclusively cater to walk-in patients, ensuring that only serious and referral cases are handled at Machakos Level 5.

“Our urban residents deserve quality healthcare without unnecessary delays. This new facility will guarantee swift and affordable treatment for minor ailments while allowing Machakos Level 5 to focus on advanced medical cases,” Governor Ndeti affirmed.

    Easing the Burden on Caregivers

The facility will not only streamline service delivery but also ease the strain on primary caregivers, enabling them to focus on critical patients. By reducing congestion, the county government seeks to enhance efficiency, patient comfort, and overall healthcare outcomes.

Support for Cancer and HIV Patients

Beyond infrastructure, Governor Ndeti has pledged to implement robust healthcare structures to cushion cancer and HIV patients, ensuring that vulnerable groups receive the care and support they need.

“In light of evolving global healthcare funding challenges, my administration is committed to safeguarding our cancer and HIV patients. We will put in place systems that guarantee sustained medical support for these critical cases,” she emphasized.

A Commitment to a Healthier Machakos

Governor Wavinya Ndeti’s visionary leadership continues to reshape Machakos into a healthcare hub. With this proactive and people-centered approach, residents can now look forward to a modern, efficient, and accessible healthcare system that prioritizes their well-being.

This initiative is a testament to the Governor’s unwavering dedication to delivering tangible solutions that improve lives and cement Machakos’ position as a trailblazer in healthcare innovation.
