A cloud of concern has engulfed the media fraternity after Kwitu FM breakfast show presenter Meshack Kaleli, popularly known as Father, was reportedly attacked by unknown individuals on Thursday morning, leaving him with injuries that required hospitalisation.
In a statement shared on its official social media platforms, Kwitu FM confirmed that the veteran radio presenter sustained injuries during the incident and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Machakos.

The station did not disclose the circumstances surrounding the attack or the motive behind it, but assured listeners that Kaleli is receiving medical attention.
Kaleli, a familiar voice in the Lower Eastern region, previously worked at Mbaitu FM before joining Kwitu FM, where he currently hosts the popular breakfast show.
