The County Assembly of Kitui has adjourned its sittings with effect from 7th August, 2024 to allow members proceed for the August recess.
House Speaker Hon Kevin Kinengo Katisya communicated to the members at the floor of the house that the recess will last three weeks and resume its sittings on Tuesday, 3rd September, 20 24.
Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya further thanked members for their commendable job they have during the concluded session and urged them to come back more re energised after the recess and continue to undertake their duties diligently as they have always done.
This procedural motion was moved by the Majority Leader Hon. Munyoki Mwinzi.
