State House Director of Coordination Bonnie Musambi, who hails from Mulango Ward, the same ward as detained gospel artist Stephen Kasolo, has visited him at Kitengela Prison, where he has been locked up for the past eight days.

Musambi assured Kasolo’s supporters that the singer remains in high spirits ahead of his bail hearing early this week. He urged the public to remain patient and trust the judicial process, dismissing speculation surrounding the case.

“Greetings from Stephen Kasolo Kitole! I visited him today, and he is in high spirits. I urge that we all exercise patience. I have faith in our Judiciary system. Let us avoid prejudice and believe in the process. Story nyingi hazina maana. All I can assure you is that justice will not only be done; it will be seen to be done.”
Kasolo was arrested following a complaint by fellow gospel artist Stella Mengele, and with mediation efforts having failed, only the court process will determine his fate. His bail hearing is expected to take place early this week.
