Wiper Party Leader Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has made explosive claims that Trans Nzoia MCAs are being bribed with millions to push for the impeachment of Governor George Natembeya. Speaking at the Wiper Party Headquarters today, Kalonzo alleged that the Kenya Kwanza government, under President William Ruto, is using financial incentives to orchestrate Natembeya’s removal from office.
According to Kalonzo, each MCA has been promised Ksh 3 million just to sign the impeachment motion and an additional Ksh 2 million once the process is underway. The shocking revelation has sent ripples across the political landscape, with the former Vice President vowing to expose the masterminds behind the scheme.
“We know what is happening behindķ the scenes. The MCAs have been offered Ksh 3 million each to append their signatures and another Ksh 2 million to ensure the motion goes through. This is nothing but a dirty, cash-fueled political witch-hunt,” Kalonzo declared.
He linked the impeachment bid to Natembeya’s recent clash with Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah over the rising cases of abductions in the country, which played out publicly during the burial of National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula’s brother. Kalonzo accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of punishing leaders who dare to speak out, using state resources to buy loyalty and crush dissent.
“This government is operating like a mafia. They think money can solve everything, but Kenyans are watching. We will not allow gangster politics to thrive,” Kalonzo warned.
