A rare convergence of senior government officials, Members of Parliament, and county leaders was witnessed in Unyaa Village, Kyangwithya West Ward in Kitui Central Constituency, during the traditional wedding (Ngasya) ceremony of Michelle Kalua, daughter of renowned scholar and development expert Dr. Isaac Kalua Green, and her fiancé Michael Obiero.
The colorful cultural celebration brought together family, friends, community elders, and top government officials, highlighting both the cultural significance of the occasion and the high-profile connections of the families involved.
The ceremony attracted a powerful delegation from the national government, including Principal Secretary for the National Treasury Dr. Chris Kiptoo, Principal Secretary for Immigration and Citizen Services Dr. Belio Kipsang, and Principal Secretary for Livestock Development Hon. Jonathan Mueke.
