    Joseph Wambua Mwanza, the esteemed founder of Ulinzi Starlets, has been laid to rest today in Kisayani, Kibwezi West Constituency, Makueni County.

    Mwanza, who passed away last week after a brief illness, was a pivotal figure in women’s football in Kenya. He founded Ulinzi Starlets in 2018, leading the team to remarkable success, including three major FKF Cup titles. His legacy as a vision bearer for the sport will be cherished by many.

    Mwanza’s contributions to football and his community have left an indelible mark, and he will be fondly remembered by teammates, fans, and fellow sports enthusiasts.
