The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has opened applications for 20,000 internship positions for Junior Secondary School (JSS) teachers, providing a significant opportunity for educators to gain hands-on experience and enhance their teaching skills. This initiative aligns with the government’s focus on strengthening education at the JSS level and is aimed at equipping students with practical skills in Technical Learning Areas.

Qualified and trained teachers specializing in technical subjects and registered with the TSC are encouraged to apply. The internship, which runs for a period of twelve months, offers a monthly stipend of Ksh20,000 to each intern, providing both financial support and a platform for career advancement within the education sector.

The deadline for applications is set for 4th November 2024. Interested teachers are urged to submit their applications in a timely manner to seize this professional opportunity.
