    Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has been the talk of internet this afternoon, after taking to his socials to suggest a raft of measures the National Assembly should employ to adress the issue of public officers bragging openly on how they are living large.

    In his post, the Cabinet Secretary sarcastically suggested that Parliament should urgently introduce and pass a Lifestyle Audit Bill, setting parameters for auditing and capping the maximum cost of personal items such as clothing and cars.

    His statement didn’t sit well with online users calling me out for being insensitive at a time when the nation is at crossroads.

    The social media users took a jibe also at former nominated Senator Millicent eho has in the past been accused of living beyond her means despite being a an assistant minster.

    “Hii lifestyle audit inafaa ifanywe Mara moja … mapema ndio best” Omanga said via a social post.

    Today’s reaction comes barely a day after President William Ruto said he was taking action on public officers displaying arrogance towards citizenry with exposing their extravagant spending in public
