Seven Couples from Kaveta Catholic Church in Kitui Central Constituency have said “Yes I Do” in a holy mass presided over by Fr Benson Katua.

In his sermon, Fr Benson Katua implored on the newly married to strengthen their commitment to God by fostering love and unity within their households.

The man of God further emphasized on the importance of service to one another as a way of serving God, highlighting that love and mutual support are foundational to strong family bonds.
“Don’t put down your rings when things get tough.” He said.

At the same time , Christians have been called to embrace unity and unity in the Church and the need to uphold high standards of work and faith.

Speaking today during the Diocesan CWA Harambee at Our Lady of Africa Cathedral, The Bishop’s Executive Secretary, Rev. Fr. Edward Mulwa called on the CWA members to emulate the example of Mother Mary in their daily lives, stressing the importance of caring for and protecting their families, showing them the right path, and ensuring their growth and strength.

The aim of Harambee was to purchase a CWA office vehicle, where Ksh 2.6 million was raised.
Present also were the Diocesan CWA Chaplain Rev. Fr. Joseph Ndunda and Northerly Deanery CWA Chaplain Rev. Fr. Antony Mutio, who is also the Parish Priest of Mwingi Parish.
