The National Liberal Party leader Dr Augustus Kyalo Muli has accused President William Ruto of recycling leaders in his government, terming the move to appoint politicians in his cabinet as blatant disregard for the people’s voice.

In a statement issued to newsrooms this evening, Dr Augustus Muli took a swipe at ODM leade Raila Odinga for what he termed as a let down to the Gen Z youths who fought courageously adding that the tragic loss of young lives has been in vain, yet the rewards have gone to old and retired politicians instead.
“The fight for genuine leadership is far from over. Even if the president wanted to collaborate with the opposition, there are plenty of capable individuals he could have chosen without resorting to the same leaders responsible for the country’s current state. We urge Parliament to take the side of the people and reject all of these nominees.” He said
Dr Muli was reacting to President William Ruto’s latest appointment of 10 nominees, 5 of which are from ODM party comprising of former governors and Mps.

At the same time , the National Liberal party will hold it’s National Delegates Conference at The Woods Hotel grounds on Saturday 28th July 2024, where the party is expected to arrive at several resolutions.
