In a devastating turn of events, Malava Member of Parliament, Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi, has passed away. The news was confirmed earlier today by Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetangula, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the lawmaker.

Hon. Injendi, who had been representing Malava Constituency in Kakamega County, was known for his active role in national politics and his commitment to his constituents. The cause of his death has not yet been officially disclosed, but sources close to the late MP suggest that he had been battling a health condition in recent weeks.

Speaker Wetangula, in his statement, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late MP, his constituents, and the entire nation. “This is a great loss to the people of Malava and to the entire country. Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi was a dedicated leader who worked tirelessly for the welfare of his people,” Wetangula said.

Political leaders from across the country have also expressed their shock and sorrow over the untimely passing of the popular MP. In the wake of his death, many are now asking about the next steps for Malava Constituency and the implications for the upcoming political scene.

The loss of Hon. Injendi leaves a significant void in the political landscape of Kakamega County and in Parliament, as many had expected him to continue playing a key role in shaping Kenya’s legislative future.

Details on funeral arrangements and tributes are expected to be shared by the family in the coming days.

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
