Kamba entertainment is in turmoil as Annest Mwesh, the ex-wife of former TV presenter and MC, Toto, has unleashed a scathing attack on gospel singer Stella Mengele. In a viral audio clip circulating on social media, Mwesh accuses Stella of betrayal and playing an active role in the breakdown of her marriage.
According to Mwesh, Stella, whom she considered a trusted confidante during her marital struggles, secretly sided with her husband. She alleges that Stella not only knew about her estranged husband’s affair but also enabled it.
“I trusted you as a friend and sought your advice during the hardest times of my life,” Mwesh says in the viral recording. “Little did I know you were siding with my husband, fully aware of his affair with your own sister.”
The accusations extend further, with Mwesh claiming that Stella advised MC Toto to seek custody of their two children, intensifying her pain.
“You preach water but drink wine,” Mwesh adds, referencing Stella’s public image as a counselor and mentor known affectionately as “Aunty” among her fans. “Why would you push for my kids to be taken away from me when your sister and MC Toto already have a child of their own?”
MC Toto has since responded to the allegations through a Facebook post, where he defended his actions. He stated that he did everything in his power to save his marriage and assured the public that his children are thriving. “My kids are living large and healthy under the care of my new wife, Musenya Mengele, a lawyer,” he wrote.
However, Mwesh expressed anguish over what she perceives as neglect of her children.
“My kids are now suffering under the care of a maid while their father enjoys a life of luxury. It pains me deeply as a mother,” she lamented.
Mwesh further accused Stella of influencing critical decisions that left her heartbroken. She alleged that Stella actively enabled her sister’s affair with MC Toto, despite her reputation as a moral compass in the community.
