    Emali Woman Who Set Herself on Fire Dies While Receiving Treatment at Kenyatta Referral

    A 29-year-old woman from Emali, Makueni County, has died while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital after setting herself on fire.

    Confirming the death, Nzaui Sub-County Police Commander said the woman had sustained 70 per cent burns and succumbed while undergoing medical care.

    According to police reports, the woman splashed petrol on her body and lit herself on fire shortly after parting ways with her husband.

    Police have launched investigations into the incident
