Leaders from all walks of life , have continued to mourn the late nominated MCA Magdalene Kalembe, who was wife to the late former assistant minster and Tip Tip Partyl leader, the late Kalembe Ndile .
Some of the distinguished leaders who have send their condolences messages to the family of the late Magdalene include former Makeuni Governor Hon Kivutha Kibwana.
In his messages , Kibwana said he was reeling un ahock and pain over of Hon Magdalene Kamene who husband ( the late Kalembe Ndile) was his political mente.
“This loss is profound for both the family and the community, especially for the children of Kalembe and Kamene.
My condolences go out to the family, the community, the Makueni County Assembly fraternity, and the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party that nominated Kamene to the Assembly.
May our Lord Almighty receive Kamene’s soul in eternal peace.” He said
Kibwezi West Mp Hon Mwengi Mutuse eulogized the late Magdalene as a humble, honest and a devoted leader who firmly upheld fairness and justice in execution of her public duties.
“On behalf of my family and the County Assembly of Makueni, I convey sincere condolences to the family and the people of Kibwezi West.” He said
Former Machakos Governor and Cabinet Secretary Minstry of Tourism and Wildlife Hon Dr Alfred Mutua said , Maendeleo Chap Chap had a visionary leader who championed for the rights of women and girls in the community through her representation of motions in parliament.
At the time of her passing, the late Hon. Magdalene Kalembe was serving as a nominated Member of the County Assembly of Makueni under the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party.
According to a family spokesman Hon. Magdalene fell ill late last week and was hospitalized at a Nairobi City Hospital before getting moved to Mp Shahwhere she was being treated for dengue fever.
