The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has approved a framework to collaborate formally with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

This decision precedes a major announcement at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, where President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga are expected to address the nation.

During a Parliamentary Group meeting at State House, President Ruto emphasized that this partnership is a commitment to national unity and a bipartisan approach to governance.

While speculation about a UDA-ODM alliance for 2027 has been growing, ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna has dismissed claims of a pre-election deal.

This anticipated announcement could reshape Kenya’s political landscape.
