Ikanga/Kyatune Ward MCA Cyrus Kisavi has been arrested by DCI detectives in a dramatic scene that unfolded while he was on duty alongside fellow MCAs.

Eyewitnesses say the detectives attempted to whisk him away discreetly, but his colleagues resisted, leading to a tense standoff. In a viral video circulating online, an unidentified man is heard shouting: “Stop abducting him! Introduce yourself! Who are you?”

Kyangwithya West MCA and Deputy Speaker Christopher Nzioka is seen confronting the detectives, demanding an explanation for the arrest, while Nominated Wiper MCA Jackline Kalenga watches helplessly from a distance.
Kisavi’s Troubles with the Law
This is not the first time MCA Kisavi has found himself entangled in controversy. Last year, he was attacked by goons in Nairobi’s CBD over allegations of theft. The incident left him hospitalized at Nairobi Hospital for several weeks. At the time, he blamed his political rivals for orchestrating the attack.

Allegations of Illegal Car Transfer
A detective involved in the operation, speaking to Channel 15 News on condition of anonymity, revealed that Kisavi is wanted for questioning over claims of illegally transferring ownership of a vehicle belonging to Ms. Rose Ngoima, the daughter of Township MCA Hon. Ngoima.
Attempts to reach Hon. Ngoima for comment were unsuccessful by the time of publication.
