The Anzauni Ndene Clan has officially resolved to have Dr. Augustus Kyalo Muli as their spokesperson. The decision was made today during the clan’s Annual General Meeting held at Dr. Muli’s residence in Misuuni, Kitui Central.
The meeting, which brought together clan leaders and representatives from Kitui, Machakos, and Makueni counties, was hailed as a historic moment for the Anzauni Ndene Clan. Businessman Tom Luusa, along with Makueni’s clan representatives, congratulated Dr. Muli on his new role.
In his capacity as the newly endorsed spokesperson, Dr. Augustus Kyalo Muli will engage with and represent the Ndene Clan on various matters, acting as the central figure in articulating and advancing their collective interests. This role aims to foster greater unity and collaboration among clan members across different counties.
During the meeting, concerns were raised over individuals allegedly masquerading as members of the Ndene Clan or claiming to be Kamba community spokespersons. The attendees resolved to address these issues firmly to protect the integrity and representation of the clan.
Speaking after his endorsement, Dr. Muli expressed gratitude and commitment to his new role, saying, “I take this responsibility with a lot of humility and am so grateful to my clan for endorsing me as their Spokesperson. I am ready to work with my clan to foster unity and bring them to the national table of decision-making.”
Clan representatives also revealed plans to expand their membership, targeting individuals from Kilifi, Kwale, and Mombasa counties to join the growing Anzauni Ndene community, which now boasts over 400,000 members.
This endorsement comes just a day after the NLP Party Leader paid a courtesy call to former Azimio and ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga in Homa Bay County. The event was also attended by President William Ruto, further highlighting Dr. Muli’s growing prominence on the national stage.
This development signifies a significant step forward for the Anzauni Ndene Clan, positioning Dr. Muli as a key voice in championing their agenda across the region and beyond.
