The biggest cultural festival ceremony is scheduled to go down this coming Augustus on 30th and 31st , National Anzauni Patron has confirmed.

In an exclusive interview on #NichoNyamaiLive show on Ngumbau Tv tonight, the Kyalo Kya Maendeeo founder said the organizing committee is fast tracking the organization of the event which is expected to bring several acts and performances from Kamba Land and as far from Tanzania.

“This event is not about me, it’s a community event and we have received alot of support from various organizations aimed at supporting the event to be a success. We can assure our community that this will be a big event full of Kamba heritage.” Said Muli

On matters Generation Z and why he is supporting the movement, Dr Muli said he supported the youths because he is a community leader and what doesn’t sit well with his people, doesn’t sit well with him.

“What’s wrong with me supporting our youths with something like water to drink during their protests? Am their community leader and when they say something is wrong, we should all listen to them” He said.

Dr Kyalo took a swipe at both nominated and appointed Kamba leaders for failing to unite for the well being of the community but choosing to fight openly over their overriding personal differences.

“What we have seen with our leaders is sad. For instance the open fight between our Cabinet Secretary Hon Penninah Malonza and Kitui East Mp Nimrod Mbai, is not healthy for our community. They should be coming together to voice the concerns of our people at the national platforms but thats not what we are seeing” He said

Dr Augustus Kyalo Muli returned in the country this week , after spending the weekend in Busiya Kingdom, Shinyanga, Tanzania on the invitation of the Kingdom chief, during the annual Wasukuma Cultural Saba Saba Festival . The Anzauni chief lauded the Wasukuma for keeping their traditions and celebrating their culture with pride.
