Kyuso, Mwingi North – A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Kyuso after being caught in the act with a 16-year-old schoolgirl at a lodging in Gai Market.

The shocking incident unfolded earlier today when the man, who was accompanied by the minor, checked into the lodging in the afternoon. Locals grew suspicious and, upon witnessing the man engaged in sexual activity with the girl, immediately alerted the police.

Police arrived at the scene and arrested the 28-year-old suspect, who is now in custody. However, in a chilling twist, another man, who had also checked into the lodging with a different minor, managed to flee before authorities could apprehend him.

Law enforcement has since launched a manhunt for the second suspect, intensifying efforts to bring him to justice. Authorities are investigating the situation and are determined to hold both individuals accountable for their actions.

The community is in shock over the disturbing event, with residents expressing outrage over the exploitation of minors. “This is a crime we cannot ignore. Our children deserve protection, and we demand justice,” one local said.

The authorities have pledged to act swiftly and continue their search for the second suspect, urging anyone with information to come forward. The police have also emphasized their commitment to protecting minors and preventing such incidents from happening in the future.
