Youtubue has pulled down Katombi’s newest release “Nyamu Dance Song” , following a copyright claim by a fellow artist.
In a twist of events, the Benga artist has issued 12-hour ultimatum for the artist with the copyright claim to drop it it or face dire consequences.
“Mwenye anajua huyo amwambie aende atoe hiyo claim mimi staki kumtafuta aanze kusema “NISAMEHE SITARUDIA” na awache kutumiwa vibaya.. KASEE EKA UTUMIWA NAI that’s all i can tell you.. mahali huko nakupea tu 12 hours utoe hiyo claim.” Said Katombi.
According to Youtubue the video was removed from the site following a copyright claim by user Kawendi Junior for using content in song “Kawendi Ni Ya Tene”.
The contanct for the copyright claim has been revealed as Shady232@gmail.com .
Before the copyright claim strike and pulling down of the song, the song was trending on number 30 countrywide with over 30,000 views in two days after it was released.
