A missionary priest from Catholic Diocese of Kitui has died in a grisly road accident, Channel 15 News has learned.
Fr Martin Mutunga Kavisu who untill his death was was working in Archdiocese of Lilongwe in Malawi attached to Saint Patrick’s Missionaries , passed on last night at 10:00pm following a road accident.
Confirming the sad news, Catholic Diocese of Kitui bishop Joseph Mwongela said :” It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Fr Martin Kavisu of Saint Patrick’s Missionaries. He passed on last night at 10:00pm in Malawi in a road accident.”
Fr Martin comes from Kasyala Parish in Kitui County.
