The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced the recruitment of 46,000 qualified teachers to fill vacancies on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service. The available positions are distributed as follows:
6,000 posts for Primary Schools
39,550 posts for Junior Schools
450 posts for Secondary Schools
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Kenyan citizen.
- Hold a minimum of a P1 certificate for Primary School positions or a diploma in education for Junior and Secondary School positions.
- Be registered with the Teachers Service Commission.
Application Process
Interested and qualified candidates are required to submit their applications online through the TSC website at www.tsc.go.ke under the “Careers” section or through teachersonline.tsc.go.ke. The deadline for applications is 7th October 2024, at midnight.

The TSC Recruitment Guidelines 2024/2025 Financial Year will apply.
Shortlisted candidates will need to present their original academic and professional certificates.
Applicants must only submit one Application for Employment Form, as submitting multiple forms will result in disqualification.
Manual applications will not be accepted.
Serving interns should apply in their current counties, sub-counties, or workstations.
Interns will only need to present their identity cards during the verification process.
