    Ruto Leads Presidential Race In Latest TIFA Poll As Kalonzo, Matiang’i Trail

    President is leading in the latest presidential preference poll released by , cementing his early advantage ahead of the 2027 General Election.

    The survey places Dr Ruto at 24 per cent, followed closely by at 19 per cent.

    Former Interior Cabinet Secretary ranks third with 14 per cent, while Nairobi Senator comes fourth at 10 per cent. Deputy President follows with 9 per cent support.

    The poll also highlights growing political formations, with the Linda Mwananchi Movement led by Mr Sifuna enjoying significant grassroots backing at 73 per cent, compared to 23 per cent for the Linda Ground Movement associated with among ODM supporters.

    On party popularity, the emerges as the most preferred party with 18 per cent support, narrowly ahead of the at 17 per cent. The ranks third with 16 per cent.

    Meanwhile, Interior Cabinet Secretary remains the most preferred running mate for President Ruto, securing 59 per cent support among respondents. Homa Bay Governor comes in second with 12 per cent.

    The findings underline shifting political alignments and early jockeying for influence as leaders position themselves for the next general election, with both established parties and emerging movements seeking to consolidate support across the country.
