Youths in Embu town have taken to the streets in protest over the unresolved abduction of Bill Mwangi, a local resident, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances a week ago. The angry demonstrators have blocked major roads and set tyres ablaze, paralyzing traffic and forcing many businesses to shut down for safety reasons.

The protests highlight growing frustration over what residents term as delayed investigations by law enforcement. Speaking to Channel 15 News, one protester said, “It’s been a week with no answers. We need justice for Bill Mwangi, and the police must act now!”

Local authorities have called for calm, assuring residents that investigations are ongoing. However, the situation remains tense as protesters demand concrete action and accountability. Business owners have expressed concern over the disruption, with some calling on the government to intervene swiftly to restore order.

Bill Mwangi’s family has also appealed for information from the public, pleading with anyone who might have details regarding his disappearance to come forward.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for updates.
