Kitui County Assembly Speaker Kevin Kinengo Katisya’s wife made her first-ever public appearance over the weekend as she accompanied her husband for a church service in Embu County.

Taking to his official social media platforms, the speaker shared details of the event on his socials, revealed that he was joined by his spouse and members of the Kitui County Assembly Service Board (KCASB) at the A.C.K Church of the Good Shepherd, Muchunguri, in Mbeti South Ward, Mbeere South Constituency.

The delegation, led by Vice Chair Hon. Mathew Vuthi (MCA Chuluni), Hon. Hussein Mwandia (MCA Ikutha), and Mr. Wilson Muange, joined worshippers after a warm invitation from Mr. Charles Namu Nyaga, the Acting Deputy Clerk of the Assembly who also serves as a curate at the church.

During the service, Mr. Muange—himself an A.C.K priest—delivered a powerful sermon on the importance of heeding God’s call, obeying His word, and guiding the youth in service to the church. The delegation also supported the construction of a youth talent nurturing hall.
The Speaker expressed gratitude to the people of Embu, led by County Assembly Speaker Hon. Josiah Thiriku and Mbeti South MCA Hon. Shadrach Muriithi Kiura, for hosting them.

While the service carried a strong spiritual and community development message, all eyes were also on Speaker Kinengo’s elegant wife, whose first public appearance alongside him sparked admiration and warm reactions from leaders and congregants alike.
