A dramatic video showing a man clinging to comedian Oga Obinna’s helicopter has gone viral — leaving Kenyans both stunned and amused.

The jaw-dropping incident occurred during the traditional wedding ceremony of Ohangla star Prince Indah in Migori County, where celebrities, fans, and high-profile guests had gathered to celebrate. As the event wound down and the chopper carrying Obinna and businessman Bruno prepared to take off, chaos erupted.

The now-viral clip captures the moment an unidentified man dashed toward the helicopter, ignored multiple security warnings, and desperately latched onto the aircraft’s landing skids as it began to ascend.

Obinna, narrating the ordeal via his social media, posted:

“MIGORI KOMANDO! Sasa huyu angeumia wangesema tumemsacrifice! He was so keen to hang on. Security removed him, and he came back. Luckily, he hanged on the side myself and Business Man Bruno were seated, and we saw him. Pilot hakukuwa amemuona hata! We shukishad him safely kwa shamba ya wenyewe hapo mbele, akarudi amebebwa kichampe.”

The comedian and his co-passenger quickly alerted the pilot, prompting an emergency landing in a nearby farm. The man was safely removed and, according to witnesses, carried off by locals in a comically undignified manner — “amebebwa kichampe.”

The incident has sparked a social media frenzy, with many referring to the man as “Migori James Bond”, “Heli Guy”, and even “The Original Sky Hustler.” Memes, remixes, and TikTok challenges are already in circulation, with Kenyans online doing what they do best — turning a near-tragedy into viral comedy.

While many are laughing, others are raising concerns about safety and security at public events involving celebrities and VIPs.

No official statement has been released yet from the authorities or Prince Indah’s team regarding the man’s identity or whether he’ll face any legal action.
