Kitui senatorial aspirant Dr. Stephen Mbaya Kimwele has called on leaders to embrace servant leadership, saying true leadership is defined by humility, compassion and a genuine commitment to serving the people.

Dr. Mbaya made the remarks on Saturday during the burial of Pastor Molly Achieng Kyalo in Mui Ward, Mwingi Central Sub-County, where he joined the bereaved family, friends and hundreds of mourners in paying their final respects.

Addressing the congregation, the Wiper Patriotic Front senatorial aspirant urged leaders to emulate the late pastor’s selfless service, integrity and unwavering dedication to uplifting others, noting that leadership should be about serving communities rather than seeking personal gain.

He also encouraged the bereaved family to remain united and steadfast in faith as they mourned their loved one, expressing confidence that Pastor Molly’s legacy of love, service and compassion would continue to inspire generations.
