Kaumoni Boys High School in Makueni County has been closed indefinitely and students send home following a night riot.

According to letters issued to students to hand to their parents home, the school’s administration closed down the institution following a riot and the school took a preventive measure to avoid more destruction of properties . The students have been asked to report back in the school after two weeks accompanied by their parents.

A student who spoke to Channel 15 Digital correspodent accused the school of doing nothing to deal with the increased lice and continued food rational formula which has been in effect since last month.

A follow up with the school’s top administration to give them a right of reply bore no fruits, as the school’s secretary informed us that the principal was not in a position to respond to the claims as he was engaged in a meeting.
