Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is the talk of the town today after photos from the burial of his longtime friend, Daniel Kimanzi Muanga, surfaced online—showing a striking resemblance between Kalonzo and Muanga’s son.

The images, which captured uncanny similarities “eye to eye, finger to finger,” have set social media ablaze, with netizens making tongue-in-cheek remarks about the resemblance.

One online user quipped, “Bwana Kimanzi, nikama kugongewa haijaanza juzi… 🧐🧐🧐”—suggesting that the resemblance might not be a coincidence.
Even celebrated comedian Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill, joined the conversation, posting one of the viral photos with the caption: “Will the real Kalonzo please stand up?”—a nod to Eminem’s famous song.

The burial, held in Kwa-Vonza Ward, Kitui Rural Constituency, marked the final farewell for Daniel Kimanzi, who passed away at the age of 75. Kalonzo, who was among the mourners, has yet to address the buzz surrounding his doppelgänger.
Is this just a case of genetics playing tricks, or is there more to the story? Kenyans are watching closely.
