Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has joined Catholic faithful in praying for Pope Leo XIVโs full recovery following his successful surgery, during a visit to the Vatican in Rome.

Kalonzo said he attended Holy Mass with presidents of Episcopal Conferences following an invitation to join them in prayer and reflection.
He also met Archbishop Maurice Muhatia Makumba of Kisumu, who is leading the Kenyan bishops at the Vatican, as they prayed for the Pope, the Church in Kenya and the country.

The former Vice-President also extended his condolences to families of the 17 pilgrims who died while travelling to the National Marian Shrine in Subukia, expressing solidarity with the bereaved families and the Catholic community.

Kalonzoโs message combined prayers for the Popeโs recovery with condolences to grieving families and a call for humility among those seeking to lead Kenya.
He said he would travel to Bondo the following day, alongside Mama Ida Odinga, the family and other Kenyans, to mark one year since the death of former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.

โMay God guide Kenya, and grant those of us who seek to lead her the humility to put the people first,โ Kalonzo said.
