The High Court in Nairobi has issued interim restraining orders against celebrated Mugithi musician Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu, popularly known as Samidoh, following accusations of ra-pe leveled against him.
Justice Mugambi directed that Samidoh, his agents, or any persons acting on his behalf are barred from contacting, intimidating, or harassing the complainant until the matter is heard and determined.

In a move aimed at securing crucial evidence, the court further instructed the police to forensically secure and preserve all documentary, digital, and electronic materials, including audio recordings and messaging evidence presented by the woman.

The ruling now sets the stage for a highly scrutinized legal battle that has already drawn wide public attention, given Samidoh’s popularity both in the music industry and public life.
