President William Ruto has announced that the government will provide 1,000 electric vehicles to National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs) by the end of the year.

This initiative is part of the government’s broader commitment to promoting green energy and reducing carbon emissions.

The provision of electric vehicles aims to enhance the efficiency and mobility of NGAOs in carrying out their duties across the country. The move is also aligned with the government’s agenda to embrace sustainable development practices and modernize the public sector with environmentally friendly solutions.

By transitioning to electric vehicles, the government not only seeks to improve service delivery but also to set a precedent for adopting clean energy in public transportation and beyond.
