Malama Wa Kativui famed for being a pro-drummist has come out to explain why he was he once slapped by Kamba Benga maestro and legendary hitmaker Ken Wa Maria during a show.
The legendary drumist who has performed with successful benga artist like Ken Wa Maria’s Yatta Boys Band , Maima’s Kithungo Raha and under Kativui among other notable artist , says during a performance in Mulolongo’s Tavern Kwa Muli , a disagreement ensued between him and the legendary Kamba Maestro that was as a result of unynschronized beats emanating from his drumsets, after taking too much for the day while on duty.
After several interventions , the Yatta Boy’s Band leader got irked by Malama’s under performance and kicked him out with a heavy slap on his cheek.
According to Malama , the Yatta Band Orchestra leader who started his band in the year 2001 doesn’t entertainment cases of misconduct in his band .
Malama was chatting with Benga Tv host Dj Biado on weekly Benga show interview at Kamba Tv where fans contributed Ksh 20,000 for Malama’s wife to open a Kiosk.
