Is Amb. Dr. FCS Koki Muli Grignon Kenya’s Most Sought-After Selection Panelist? Just a day after being sworn into the IEBC Selection Panel, Dr. Muli was front and center at another vetting session today in Kitui County, this time for a panel that will oversee the recruitment of the County Secretary, County Public Service Board Secretary, and County Attorney.

Her back-to-back vetting appearances have sparked fresh controversy, fueling claims that she is Wiper Party’s ultimate power player, strategically positioned to influence both national and county governance processes.

How does one person land multiple powerful vetting roles in different jurisdictions at the same time? Critics argue this is blatant political recycling, while her defenders insist she is simply the best in the field.

If approved, the Kitui selection panel will conduct interviews and shortlist three candidates per position, from which Governor Julius Malombe will pick one per category. The names will then be forwarded to the County Assembly for vetting, where another political showdown is expected.

With Dr. Koki Muli now entrenched in both county and national selection processes, the big question is: Who really controls Kitui’s power play, and is this an orchestrated move by Wiper to tighten its grip?

Stay tuned—this political chess game is just getting started!
