    CS Penina Malonza To Partner With Kyalo kya Maendeeo Women Initiative To Market Locally Produced Baskets

    Cabinet Secretary Peninah Malonza has agreed to patner with Kyalo Kya Maendeeo Women Initiative to market locally produced baskets nationally and overseas.

    The National Anzauni Patron flanked by Cs Peninah Malonza arrive at the launch of Kitui Sacco association over the weekend at KEFRI

    Speaking during the launch of Kitui Saccos association at KEFRI in Kitui Central Constituency over the weekend, Malonza said it’s time our women bennefit from our craft and called on other leaders in Kamba land to ensure our baskets as trade marked.

    “When i was the Minster for Tourism, i didnt have enough time to work on trademarking our locally produced baskets, but i can assure Dr Augustus Kyalo Muli that we will work together through his Kyalo Kya Maendeeo to ensure our women bennefit from our basket weaving” Said Malonza

    Cs Peninah Malonza consults with The National Anzauni Patron Dr Augustus Kyalo Muli during the launch of Kitui Sacco association at KEFRI over the weekend. The two leaders have agreed to work together to champion the interest of Kitui residents.

    The two leaders vowed to work together through women empowerment projects aimed at changing the life of Kitui residents.

    On his part, Dr Augustus Kyalo Muli called on both elected and non-elected leaders to unite together and create a good political will to serve the interest of Kitui people.

    “When we launch projects like women’s basket initiatives is not like we are interested in any seat. We are only interested in improving the livelihood of our people. And this is the one voice we want our leaders to speak with” Said Muli

    During Saturday’s event , the Kyalo Kya Maendeeo founder was accompanied by a Dubai based investor who was visiting Kitui County to identify areas of interest to invest in.
