    Catholic Diocese of Kitui Holds Priest Formation Program For The Larger Metropolitan Region At The Kitui Pastoral Center

    Priest from The larger Nairobi Metropolitan region and who have served for at least five years after their ordination, are for a third day attending a formation training program which kicked off early this week and will conclude this coming Friday.

    The ongoing Formation Program has been undergoing at The Kitui Pastoral Center well known as Thome Wa Aklisto, located in Kitui Central constituency.

    The Nairobi Metropolitan region comprise of the Archdiocese of Nairobi, Diocese of Kericho, Diocese of Kitui, Diocese of Machakos, Diocese of Nakuru, Diocese of Ngong, Diocese of Wote and Military Ordinariate.

    “Acknowledging the essential nature of ongoing formation for priests, this program is strategically crafted to facilitate their human, spiritual and theological development, ensuring that they remain well-prepared to navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving world. This initiative nurtures spiritual grounding, intellectual engagement, and responsiveness to the diverse needs of the communities they serve. Additionally, it enhances their capacity to fulfill their roles effectively and adapt to the evolving demands of the church and society.” Reads a communique shared by Catholic Diocese of Kitui on its Facebook Page.
