In a stirring celebration that melted hearts across the globe, award winning American gospel artist CeCe Winans is marking 41 years of marriage with her husband, Alvin Love II, sharing a touching message that quickly went viral among fans of gospel music and timeless love.

“Happy 41st Anniversary! Life is so beautiful with you. And it’s ALL because of Jesus being our LORD! Thank you Jesus 🙌🏽,” she posted on Instagram, alongside a radiant photo of the couple.

CeCe Winans, born Priscilla Marie Winans in Detroit in 1964, began her music journey singing in her local church choir at just eight years old. Her rise to fame began in the 1980s alongside her brother BeBe Winans, performing on the Christian TV show The PTL Club, which catapulted the duo into gospel music royalty. Their 1987 debut album as BeBe & CeCe Winans spawned hits like “Heaven” and “Lost Without You”, setting the tone for a career that would shape the sound of modern gospel.

CeCe Winans and husband Alvin Love II beam with grace and gratitude as they celebrate 41 years of unwavering love — “It’s ALL because of Jesus!”

In 1995, CeCe launched her solo career with the Grammy-winning Alone in His Presence, and from that moment, her voice became a global force in both music and ministry. Her signature sound and anointing have since earned her 17 Grammy Awards, 33 Dove Awards, 19 Stellar Awards, and multiple NAACP Image and Billboard Music Awards. She is celebrated not just as the most awarded female gospel artist in history, but also as a spiritual mentor whose music continues to lead millions into worship.

Over the years, her catalog has produced timeless classics such as “Alabaster Box,” “Mercy Said No,” “Everlasting Love,” and the Whitney Houston duet “Count On Me,” which peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her more recent worship anthems like “Never Lost”, “Believe For It,” and “Goodness of God” have solidified her relevance across generations, winning her new Grammys and chart success well into the 2020s.

Through all the fame and accolades, CeCe has kept her foundation in Christ and family. She and Alvin Love II, who have also co-pastored Nashville Life Church, have built a legacy of ministry and marriage that many admire and aspire to emulate. Married since 1983, the couple has managed to remain grounded and united through seasons of change — always giving glory to God for their journey.

As fans flooded her anniversary post with love and praise — calling the couple “relationship goals” and “a true kingdom example” — it was clear that CeCe Winans is more than just a gospel star. She is a living testimony of what faith, consistency, and Christ-centered love can achieve — both on stage and in life.
