    The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) has announced with profound sadness the untimely demise of its Chairperson, Roseline Odhiambo Odede, HSC, on Friday, January 3, 2025. Her passing followed a short illness.

    In a statement, the commission conveyed heartfelt condolences to Odede’s family, friends, and all those who were touched by her dedication to the cause of human rights. “During this period of mourning, we send our message of condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family, friends and all those who knew Roseline. May the memories of her exceptional service bring comfort and strength in this difficult time,” the commission stated.
