    Sombre Mood as Son of Kamba Media Personality Star Kivisi Laid to Rest in Unyaa, Kitui Central

    A cloud of grief enveloped Unyaa village in Mulutu, Kitui Central Constituency, as Collins Mumo, the firstborn son of celebrated Kamba radio presenter Star Kivisi, was laid to rest today. Mumo, who passed away late last month following a short illness, was buried at his father’s homestead amid an outpouring of condolences and support.

    Family, friends, and colleagues gathered in large numbers to pay their final respects. Among the mourners were renowned Kamba media personalities such as DJ Biado and Ututi Wa Kyuma, who joined the bereaved family to provide comfort during this difficult time.

    During the emotional ceremony, speakers described Mumo as a bright and loving young man whose untimely demise had left a void that would be hard to fill. Star Kivisi, known for his vibrant personality on air, was visibly overwhelmed as he bade a tearful farewell to his son.

    The event underscored the strong sense of community among Kamba media figures, as many turned up to show solidarity with one of their own. Messages of hope and resilience were shared, with mourners urging the family to find strength in the memories they shared with Mumo.

    Kamba TV Presenter Ututi Wa Kyuma was also present during the burial that has been held today at Unyaa,Mulutu ,Kitui Central Constituency.

    The funeral was marked by prayers, tributes, and heartfelt songs, reflecting the deep pain and unity of those present. As the final rites were conducted, tears flowed freely, leaving many reflecting on the fragility of life.

    Collins Mumo will be remembered for the joy he brought to his family and the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in eternal peace.
