President William Ruto is set to nominate former Kitui governor as Gender Cabinet Secretary, a source close to State House has told Channel 15 News .
If appointed , the former Kitui governor will replace Aisha Juma who was sacked by Ruto following weeks of unrest by Gen Z which saw Raila’s men join the government, but Kalonzo who is from Lower Eastern Region has not benefited from the latest cabinet shake up despite being a a senior Azimio outfit superior.
Ngilu is Raila’s close political ally , and has not enjoyed a good relationship with Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka in lower Eastern region.
